HTML embed tag

The HTML <embed> tag is used for embedding an external application or interactive content into an HTML document.

The basic tag is written like this <embed src="" type=""> with the URL of the embedded resource added to the src attribute (i.e. between the double quotes). The type attribute accepts the MIME type of the embedded resource.

Note that if both the type attribute and the src attribute are present, then the type attribute must specify the same type as the explicit Content-Type metadata of the resource given by the src attribute.
